From the short periods climatic water budget attempted in the present investigation, the climatic type of Parbhani is classified as semi-arid. The annual water deficit is 167% when compared with the precipitation and the annual potential evapotranspiration is 267% more than actual evapotranspiration. The water deficits of kharif and rabi seasons are 26.85 and 261.0%, respectively.
