Abstract

In a pot culture experiment, response of soybean (Glycine max, var. J.S. 2) to the application of sulphur and phosphorus was studied at different stages of growth in a sulphur and phosphorus deficient black soil of Madhya Pradesh. Both sulphur and phosphorus significantly increased the dry matter yield and S and P content in soybean. Maximum yield of soybean was observed with 25 ppm S and 80 ppm P2O5 treatment.
