In a field experiment neem cake treated ammonium sulphate (AS) and urea treatments significantly increased the grain and straw yield of finger millet (var. CO 7) over untreated ones. The uptake by N and P were higher in the neem cake treated plots. Potassium uptake decreased with increase in the levels of N applied. Among the different levels tried, higher grain and straw yield of finger millet were recorded when N was applied @ 90 kg N/ha with or without neem cake. The net profit also increased with neem cake blended (NH4)2SO4 and urea application.
