Abstract

The relative influence of HCH (BHC), HCH+NiCl2 ana NiCl2 application on the availability of Mn and Fe in the soil was examined. Maximum significant effect was observed in presence of HCH+NiCl2 followed by HCH alone while it was not significant in case of single application of NiCl2. The optimum effect on available Mn and Fe status was obtained with 250 ppm of pesticide after 30 days of application.
