Abstract

Light scattering measurements of humic and fulvic acid solutions were carried out after applying suitable corrections for colour and fluorescence. Zimm plots were constructed and both the number—and weight - average molecular weights were calculated therefrom. Light scattering has been found to be a reliable technique for estimating polydispersity of solutions of humic substances.
