Abstract

Three Mollisols of tarai region of Uttar Pradesh were studied and classified. They were correlated with the pre-studied soils of the region, notify series VI, III and II, respectively and the effect of 20 years' intensive cultivation 1tod brought about a considerable changes in physical and chemical properties of the soils, but not to such an extent as to change the classification of the soils.
