Teak sample plots of Seoni and Raipur forest divisions were studied and soil productivity computed and compared with the radial growth of teak at 25,35 and 55–60 years. Significant correlation is not obtained between soil productivity and diameter at 25 years of teak growth. However, the same is found to be significantly correlated at 35 (r = 0.6354*) and 55–60 years (r = 0.6003*). Regression equation at 35 years is Y = 21579 + 0.0321 X andfor 5560 years Y = 31.084 + 0.1159 X where Y is diameter (cm) of teak and X is the soi/productivity.
