A field experiment was conducted with wheat during 1987–88 and 1988–89 to study the effect of Udaipur rock phosphate with and without organic amendments. Rock phosphate proved to be an inferior source of phosphorus in comparison to superphosphate, in respect of wheat yield, uptake of phosphorus and relative yield efficiency. Different organic amendments however, increased the efficiency of Udaipur rock phosphate.
