Abstract

Presoaking of wheat seeds with IAA (200 mg L−1), IBA (200 mg L−1) and sodium sulphate (3%) increased the plant height, effective tillers, grain and straw yield and content of N, P, K and Ca in grain and straw while decreased the absorption of Na and B as compared to no soaking (control). The presoaking of seeds with IAA increased grain and straw yield by 20 and 34 per cent, respectively as compared to control (no soaking).
