Abstract

A field study conducted on Alfisol low in available phosphorus, sulphur and marginal in hot water soluble boron on castor, CV. NPH-1 (Aruna), indicated significant enhancement in seed as well as oil yield of castor to graded levels of phosphorus P0, P1 and P2 and S1 and S2 levels and B0, B1 and B2 spray. The interaction effect P × S × B was significant. The maximum economical oil yield of 1193 kg ha−1 was recorded at PISIBI and 1129 kg ha−1 through B2 foliar spray at the same levels.
