Abstract

A laboratory incubation study was undertaken and the availability of P was measured at different incubation intervals in relation to soil water regimes (field capacity, saturation and flooding), levels of P and sources of P on availability of P in three soil series of Inceptisols. The availability of P increased in all the soils with increase in soil water content, rates of addition of P and time. Application of P through (NH4)2HPO4 showed higher P availability under different water regimes, levels of P and incubation interval.
