Applicalion of 50 kg S ha−1 in a field experiment on an Alfisoi increased the seed yield, sulphur uptake and oil content of raya. Gypsum was the best source of sulphur. Sulphur application at optimum rate (49.4 kg ha−1) gave the highest benefit cost ratio.
