Abstract

A field morphology rating system has been used to evaluate a series of soils formed over different landforms in Dungarpur district of Rajasthan. Relative horizon distinctness rating valuts were generally below 10. Relative profile developement rating increased with stability of landform. Soils in unstable landforms had higher relative profile development ratings in the A horizon. while the ratings were higher in B horizonof stable landform.
