Abstract

In a wheat-soybean-linseed cropping sequence, lime and potassium application increased the lime potential, whereas the effect was reverse in case of phosphate potential in an Alfisol (acidic). The effect of potassium was less as compared with that of lime. The increase in lime potential and decrease in phosphate potential following lime and potassium addition significantly increased the grain yield of aU the test crops.
