Response of Cauliflower to Sulphur and Molybdenum in Vegetable Growing Area of Palam Valley

Abstract

In a field experiment, in vegetable growing area of Palam Valley of Himachal Pradesh, cauliflower (var. Parijat) yield increased due to sulphur application. Sulphur concentration and uptake also increased. Sulphur application at the rate of 20 and 40 kg S ha−1 increased cauliflower yield by 29 and 45 per cent, respectively over control. Cauliflower yield also increased by Mo application.
