Abstract

In a pot culture experiment application of benomyl, a systemic fungicide to flooded rice on Inceptisol, retarded significantly the decrease in redox potential (Eh), reduced available iron (Fe) and manganese (Mn) of the soil and decreased their total uptake by rice. Benomyl as well as FYM increased grain and straw yield of rice significantly.
