Abstract

Application of dolomite decreased B whereas application of borax increased the hot water soluble boron considerably. Application of dolomite caused an increase in the content of exchangeable Ca2+ up to 30 days of incubation period, but applied B recorded no significant change in the content of exchangeable Ca2+. Application of dolomite and B together increased the concentration and uptake of B by green gram (Vigna radiata L.). The dry matter yield of shoot and root of green gram increased by applying both dolomite and B.
