Desorption of adsorbed Cu in freshwater pond soils in relation to soil properties was studied with 24 surface soils from six districts of Orissa. Simple correlations and multiple regression analysis between amounts of Cu desorbed and soil properties show significant relationships where from conclusions have been made on how soil properties influence availability of added Cu in different soils.
