This is a very useful compilation of the work done in the past and shall be utilized while planning future research work and studies.In the present era of information technology, CD-ROM based data retrieval systems and internet are being widely utilized for mining the information on any aspect. Such systems work very fast and efficiently. Nevertheless, in developing countries, books continued to be a source of information. It is with this objective, the present compilation is an effort to provide information on organic recycling and biofertilizer at one place for the scientists of South Asia.Information on the aspects related to environmental hazards associated with management of crop residues, animal wastes, agro-industrial bio-solids and municipal solid waste utilization in agriculture are however, scanty and not covered in this compilation. Furthermore, while grouping the abstracts under different headings, abstracts have not been arranged in chronological order. These deficiencies need to be addressed in future publication.The author has however succeeded in his efforts to highlight the problems of organic recycling and biofertilization in South Asia. This book will be useful for all those associated with research and development activities related to organic recycling and biofertilization.</sec></body></article></article></body></html>
