Abstract

This paper is an initial attempt to computedistrict-wise estimates of Human Development Index (HDI)for the state of Uttarakhand. District-wise HDIs for the year 2010–11 have been calculated using data on IMR (2010–11), Literacy Rate (2011), Enrolment Ratio (2010–11) and Per Capita NDDP (2009–10).
