Abstract

In this paper, the author intended to focus on the need for the transition from traditional to the online educational environment due to the surging cases of novel coronavirus disease worldwide. The author tries to encompass his views regarding the higher education system’s workflow during the pandemic and suggests few plans, thought-provoking ideas, and some practical loopholes that need to be minimised to boost up the entire education system. The author emphasised online management of all country’s educational activities and highlighted a digital divide between urban and rural students. It further presses the need to change the people’s mindset so that an invisible barrier can be removed between the teachers and the learners, especially in such an uncertain situation. This study primarily focuses on the teaching pedagogy of a fast-developing country’s higher education system, i.e., Bangladesh.
