Abstract

In this paper, there is an attempt to investigate and measure the impact of information and communication technology on library information services in Gokaraju Rangaraju Institute of Engineering and Technology in Ranga Reddy District of Telangana state, India. The primary data was collected through the survey method, wherein a questionnaire was sent to 180 faculty members and also through personal interviews. Out of the 180 faculty members, 148 of them responded to the questionnaire, thus receiving the response rate of 82.2%. It was found that most of the faculty members were using IEEE and J-gate databases for their required information. Further, the survey findings can help library professionals to provide better sources and services to the user community.
