This study aims to assess the Forest Research Institute’s (FRI) Library Performance Assessment of Service Quality from the users’ point of view using the LibQUAL+ model approach. The primary data were gathered from library patrons via a paper version of the standardized survey tool, LibQUAL+. The National Forest Library and Information Centre (NFLIC) at the Forest Research Institute (FRI), Dehradun, India, was assessed for service quality (SQ) using the survey. Two hundred forty-eight users of the library, including faculty and scientists, postgraduate students, and research scholars , provided the data that were analyzed using SPSS version 25. According to the study’s findings, library users had the highest desired expectations in the dimension “Affect of Service (AS)” out of the three dimensions measured by LibQUAL+TM. The results of the study will help to enhance inadequate library services. In order to determine areas where library services need to be improved, the librarian and library management will find great value in the survey results.
