Organisational Knowledge Management and Knowledge Discovery in Science and Technology

Abstract

This paper discusses the underlying cost-effective strategies applied for Cochin University of Science and Technology in managing its intellectual capital in a local level and integrating it in a global perspective. It also discusses important infrastructure and software solutions applied for managing intellectual informatics. Finally, how this knowledge management strategies and solutions persuade the creating, facilitating, representing and embedding new knowledge among the scientific community also how it affects the organisational culture for discovery of new knowledge in Science and Technology.
