The present paper focuses on the response of LIS schools in India to the concept of KM. Meaning of KM and its relation with the discipline of LIS are also discussed in this paper. Method applied for conducting this study comprises of review of literature and the content analysis of the curriculum being taught in LIS schools in Northern India. Findings of the study reveal that there is great disparity among the LIS schools so far as the content of KM is concerned. It is suggested that there must be homogeneity in the contents of KM to be included in the curriculum.
