Web Searching Behaviour of Agricultural Students of CCS Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar, India

Abstract

Library and information centres are using advanced information technology in providing modern library services to their users. The present study is based on the web searching behaviour of agricultural students of CCS Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar. The study revealed that web is the most useful tool for the users for searching information on the network. The majority of the users 72 (52.5%) searched the web at their library. The analysis shows that Google is the most favourite search engine among the users. The majority of the users use the web for their academic purpose. The satisfaction level of the users about the web is good.
