Abstract

Information is the life blood of modern research and is a driving force for conducting extensive research and academic excellence. Library as a Learning Resource Center increasingly is taking more academic space and time in the life of the learner In today's high-tech learning environment, it is rather inevitable for the Library and Information Centers to modernize its resources and services to encompass as one stop point for information and build better visibility in the changing world of information industry A good Learning Resource Center is pivotal for the growth of an educational institution which is a sub-vital unit, fulcrum of support for all academic activities. The LRC supports the Students to reach their academic goals and become independent lifelong learners. It will be One-Stop-Shop for all their study materials, information capturing facilities, printing and much more. This paper describes the best technology and practices adopted in Learning Resource Centre of Acharya Institutes, Bengaluru. It also discusses the unique features and impact of the practices.
