This article reviews the literature on application of ICT in the college libraries of India based on 44 articles published on medical, engineering general college and universities. It is Identifies the extent of ICT infrastructure available in the academic libraries of different parts of India. These studies are isolated examples in different settings. The article tries to establish the inferences. Paper concludes that there are ample opportunities to map the extent of ICT applications among the academic libraries in India.
