Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explore the computer science faculty members in the IRINS Portal. This survey comprises computer science faculty members from throughout India, including Assistant Professors, Associate Professors, and Professors. The current research completely depends on IRINS-registered Indian computer science faculty members. The data was obtained from the IRINS website on June 8, 2021. To measure and analyze various features of the retrieved data, the researchers used the relevant software tools for better visualization of the results. The main findings of the study summarised a low level of faculty participation in IRINS. The study reveals that more Assistant Professors are registered on IRINS than the other two categories of faculty. Alarge number of missing faculty profiles suggests that computer science professors are ignorant of the need of updating their profiles on IRINS. The present study is entirely reliant on IRINS-registered Indian computer science faculty members. The Indian government has given its clearance to the IRINS project and is making significant investments in it. It is time to analyze stakeholder awareness of IRINS. As a result, this work contributes to the assessment of computer science faculty presence on IRINS. Furthermore, getting a list of computer science experts for conducting interviews or funding crucial projects will be beneficial to organizations.
