Webometric is concerned with measuring aspects of the web: websites, web pages, parts of web pages, words in web pages, hyperlinks, and web search engine results. Webometric is a huge and easily accessible source of information; there are limitless possibilities for measuring or counting on a huge scale the number of web pages, and the number of websites. The present study is an attempt to examine the websites of six MHRD Institutions in India. Webometric data have been collected through Yahoo! and Google search engines using special query syntax, Alexa, Webometric Online page analytics, SEO Tools, and Google page ranking. It identifies the web pages, in links, out links, self links, and total links and also web ranking in India and Global Rank. This study analyses the Web Impact factor, External Web Impact factor, Alexa Rank, Traffic Rank, and Google Rank. The study observed that MHRD institutions like UGC and AICTE are the most popular among the six MHRD Institutions in India.
