Discovering open education resources for english language learning and teaching: An activity-based approach

Open Education Resources (OERs) refer to materials and resources that are freely available for use, re-mixing, improvement, and redistribution under specific licenses. They are intended to lower accessibility obstacles by following best practices in teaching and are adaptable to locally specific settings. OERs are enhancing education systems all around the world. Using OERs offers the enormous possibility of boosting educational access and overall quality. In the present papers, the researcher attempted to promote the usage of OERs, especially in English Language Teaching by learners, teachers, and professionals. Learning English is a challenge to individuals, especially in rural areas of developing countries like India. The lesson plan is designed to explain the available online open-access resource on ELT through the ELT Subject Gateway website. The pre-and post-evaluation formats are prepared to understand the impact of the lesson.
