The goal of the current study is to determine how social media networks affect graduate girl students’ academic performance. Though in the present age, social platforms are very useful for retrieving and disseminating the information in minimum possible time but destruction is there because countless entertaining information and advertisements run simultaneously. A self-designed questionnaire was created and given to graduate girl students to perform the study successfully. 143 completed questionnaires were received. The present study reveals that students are very much aware of social media networks and use them not only for educational purposes but for social bonding also. Most of the students make use of social networks 45-60 minutes per day at any time but not in the morning at least. The present study will help to decide on how we can make the social platforms more useful for the students and their educational purposes.
