Today’s student reading and learning activities are inextricably linked to online media. The main aim and purpose of this study are to ascertain the advantages of retrieval of information, the advantages and disadvantages of the use of the internet, and the learning skills & activities, particularly those associated with student reading activities in the Internet era. 90 students of the class of Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences (BNYS) were chosen for the study by randomizing into case and control groups using a simple randomization method. Through in-depth question-answer sessions, observation, and a review of the research literature, data-gathering procedures were obtained. The findings demonstrated that most students in the Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences (BNYS) at SDM College of Naturopathy & Yogic Sciences started using the internet as their main information resource. Yet, they continue to believe that printed information sources have greater reliability than internet information sources. This is evident that printed information from books is more reliable than online and electronic sources in medical education of BNYS.
