ChatGPT is an artificial intelligence (AI) language model created by OpenAI, exclusively part of the GPT (Generative Pre-trained Transformer) series. It aims to understand and generate human-like text based on the input received. The ChatGPT has been trained to handle a huge volume of text data from the internet, books, articles, and other sources, allowing it to produce contextually relevant and helpful responses to users. ChatGPT from OpenAI looks to be a helpful tool for researchers across several fields. However, this obligation entails using it ethically and effectively. This article discusses the ethical implications and recommended practices for researchers who use ChatGPT in their research studies. The article also includes practical ways to boost ChatGPT’s efficiency, such as refinement, gathering information, and assessment. The author practically prompted various queries to ChatGPT to discover the findings. By adhering to these rules, researchers may maximize the capabilities of ChatGPT while doing their research professionally and ethically.
