Bibliometric Analysis of Sources cited by Environmental Science Researchers at HNB Garhwal University

The purpose of this study is to analyze the citation behaviour in the field of Environmental Science Research at Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University. The study analysed the cited references of research articles and reviews published by the university’s Environmental Science researchers in Scopus-indexed journals from 2012 to 2021. A sum of 13086 cited sources was retrieved from the Scopus database and analysed using the bibliometric analysis software packages of R Studio. The analysis examined different components such as document types, frequently cited sources, prominent affilialions, and countries. The collaboration network of countries and affiliations helps to identify vital collaborative relationships and networks. The study’s findings can assist researchers and policymakers by identifying influential sources, affiliations, and countries.
