The present study investigated ‘The status of the digital library being used by users at the RRIT Bangalore’. The study was envisioned to discover the use of digital library and all its multiplicity, frequency of usage, form and formats, advantages, and problems encountered while practicing digital library and access. Primary data for this study was collected from a combination of personal interviews and questionnaires, which were the most suitable to collect the data. 350 survey questionnaires were indiscriminately distributed to the academics, staff, and students. Among 350 questionnaires, 330 filled questionnaires were collected successfully, and 325 respondents knew the digital library on which the study was carried out. The study reveals that almost 92.85% of the library members are using the digital library in our RRIT. The learning process is the primary objective of digital library usage. Timesaving and access are the main advantages of digital libraries and the technical of digital devices and web services were the main issues.
The aim of this research is to understand how RRIT Bangalore library users are engaged with digital libraries and to gain insights into the patterns of use, preferences, and needs, and to optimize the digital library services, improving the user experience and tailoring content and resources.
