Use of open educational resources by post graduate students of S.D. (Pg) college, Panipat (Haryana): A case study

Abstract

Understanding the awareness and use of Open Educational Resources (0ER) among students of S.D. (PG) College, Panipat, is a vital step in supporting the growth of OER initiatives at educational institutions. In this study, the random sampling method was used to collect data from respondents. The study found that 44.7% of users learned about OERs from their colleagues, friends, and classmates, whereas 23.52% learned from their teachers. Most of students responded that OERs provide the benefit of multiple access. 20% of students encountered technical issues while using OERs. The study found that all the postgraduate students at S.D. College, Panipat are fully aware of Open Educational Resources (OER).
