Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is one of the important tools in today life in the world. It has been integrated everywhere in the human life and it made drastic changes in the field of Library Profession in recent era. This study investigates the Awareness of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Tools among the Engineering College Library Professional in Pondicherry by investigating the ICT infrastructure, current status of library automation, purpose of ICT tools, library professionals knowledge about ICT tools, problem facing use of ICT tools, To find out the type of training programs expected by the library professionals from library and barriers to acquiring ICT knowledge for library professionals.
