Use of e-resources by the faculty of Blde Medical College Library Vijayapur, Karnataka: A study

In current scenario electronic resources are becoming an integral part of the new life and of the educational prospect, especially the higher education prospect. A medical college library aims to offer broad a capable information sources and services to the medical professionals as well as students and user community This study focuses on the faculty members of BLDE medical college to collect information for their universal knowledge purpose and discuses about the accessibility and use of e-resources by the faculty of BLDE medical college library Vijayapur Karnataka is studied. It includes use of e-resources, utihze of different types of electronic resources, regularity of access to internet, Information searching pattern, utilize of e-databases subscribed by the library, purpose of use, problem faced while accessing information resources through online search mode.
