Abstract

In the present study, we explore a new heuristic technique to a general flow shop scheduling in which proceeding times of jobs are in uncertain parameter considered to be in triangular fuzzy number. The job block concept has also been added due to relative importance of one job on other. The method is new one in the sense that it finds the near optimal sequence of jobs without converting the fuzzy processing time to classical numbers. A numerical example has been illustrated to demonstrate the purposed technique.
