Abstract

Bulk queuing models are effective approach for performance analysis of telecommunication systems, manufacturing, computer networks and inventory control etc. In this paper we have studied the application of interdependence queue model to communication network under imprecise data. The study has been made under the assumption that the arrival and transmission process at the node of network are correlated following a bi-variate Poisson process. Fuzzy set theory is applied to estimate the uncertainty associated with the input parameters. The triangular membership function has been used to analyze the model. The validity of the model has been checked by numerical illustration.
