Epidermoid cysts are of developmental origin which can occur anywhere on the body but they are more predominant in the head and neck region. Most of them are benign, slow growing and asymptomatic but they can lead to esthetics problems if present on prominent areas for long time without any treatment. We report a similar case of slow growing, asymptomatic but disfiguring swelling over the malar region which was found to be epidermoid cyst after histopathological examination.
