Cold agglutinins are always notorious during cold weather. In blood banking practice, It is not uncommon to encounter with the blood units showing false agglutination during winter season. The authors have more than twenty years of experience in blood banking. In the present article only recent cases have been illustrated as showing problem during crossmatching of blood units.
