Abstract

Restoration of endodontically treated teeth with extensive loss of coronal structure in order to bring them into their normal form and function is a topic for concern for ever single dentist. In recent past also the options were limited and the restoration was maximally done using post and core in which post was used for retention of the core which in turn supports the full coverage prosthesis. Now a days with more and more development taking place post and core is not considered the only option as the era is shifting to less is more which means minimal invasive treatment is considered a better option.

Through this case series we explore the most recent methods of restoration of endodontically treated teeth by causing minimal invasion of already damaged teeth by using Ceramic onlay, Endocrown and Sharonlay.
