Powder metallurgy manufacturing route has wide industrial applications due to economic advantages. Aluminium is remarkable for the metal's low density and for its ability to resist corrosion due to the phenomenon of passivation and also it is known that the structural components of aluminium and its alloys are vital to the aerospace industry and are important in other areas of transportation and structural materials. So, the most useful compound of aluminium, at least on a weight basis, is the oxides and sulfates. Therefore the selected composition of powder mix is compacted, with the resultant shapes heated or "sintered" in a controlled atmosphere furnace to bond the particles and then extruded. The tensile specimens which are prepared from extrudates are tested. The high precision formation capability of PM generates components with near net shape, intricate features and good dimensional precision pieces. The results were good at all the stages and this present study reveals the estimation of safe factor with respect to working stress and ultimate tensile stress.
