Abstract

India is globally accepted as a reformed economy in recent past. Most of the economist outside admits that trade policy reforms are an integral part of the India͛s Macro-Economic reform package in 1991. The paper presents a review of the recent work on trade policy reforms in India with a substantive review of other papers which fits with this theme at global level. The main aim of this paper is to help the public policy bodies, academicians and other stakeholders to point out that vacuum in the recent literature on the trade policy reforms.
