Good practices are safe practices/precautionary measures that are usually followed by the health personnel to promote the health and well being of newborn resulting in prevention of illness and complications thereby reducing the neonatal morbidity and mortality.
Good practices include not just quality patient care but also honest records, effective communication, humainzed care, parent education and staff welfare activities. These result in optimal utilization of resources thereby providing cost effective quality care and reducing the hospitalization stay as well the related morbidity and mortality.
