Abstract

Five days old full term neonate born to primi-gravida mother through normal vaginal delivery at Ambala Cantonment was referred to pediatric emergency unit, PGMIER, Chandigarh with suspected diagnosis of tracheaesophageal fistula (TEF). Presenting complaints included excessive frothing and feed intolerance in the form of vomiting and regurgitation through nose. The baby however, had passed meconium and urine soon after birth.
