Abstract

Chest X-rays in newborns are usually done as an emergency and in compromised situations with portable machines. The X-ray needs to be interpreted then and there at the bedside. Hence, it is the neonatologist rather than the radiologist who has to do this job. This article describes a systematic approach towards reading a chest X-ray, for the neonatologist.
