A descriptive study to assess the Quality of Life after application of prosthesis among patients with amputation in Ganga Hospital, Coimbatore with a view to prepare a Self Instructional Module. Purposive sampling technique was used and 25 samples were selected. Data was gathered through Base line data and Structured Rating Scale consists of 5 domains. The result reveals that 36% of the subjects had poor knowledge and 32% had average knowledge regarding Quality of Life with amputation. Hence, the researcher prepared Self Instructional Module on amputation patient and their Quality of Life and distributed to the subjects.
